Physical and Personality Differences
❧ Physical Differences
So obviously he looks a lot like Ikki, but there ARE differences aside from the tattoos.
- Talks with an accent! Think southern-y/country accent, lots of slang and dropping of important g's and stuff.
- TAN. A bit faded since he's been in the Sacred City for a while, but he isn't as pale as Ikki is.
- Shorter and a bit younger(-looking) than Ikki, but more defined muscle-wise, especially in his legs, since he's a runner. Hasn't quite reached that awkward lanky stage of growth that Ikki is in the middle of.
He's also got more of that babyface look that Ikki's growing out of.
- His hair's long enough that if he could pull it back if he wanted to, and probably will while hunting.
- Prone to wearing as little clothing as possible aside from pants. He'll wear his traveling cloak and his boots, too, but other than that? Yeah, no. He prefers to go shirtless, like a REAL PYXIS.
- His scars aren't as deep or extensive as Ikki's; Raven does have scars on his back, though they're faded and old since he got them when he was younger. The ones on his arms, however, are near new - scratches and gouges left behind from digging his nails into his arms in his more worse moments of completely losing it. Those are the only ones really worth mentioning.
- And the most OBVIOUS difference would be dem tats:

۞ The beginnings of this, starting at his knee and working down, half-outlined and not complete.
- Neck - mark of the first all-out tribal battle he participated in. (12)
- Shoulder - mark of his tribe and a sign of his coming of age. (almost 13)
- Chest - acknowledgement that if he weren't Pyxis, he would've became one of Ptou's priests down the line. Sort of an "I won't do it, but I'm yours anyway" kind of thing. (13)
- Back - got this between escorts, while scouting with an old friend. The friend suggested he "show off his wings", and tattooed the outline right there, after Raven agreed. (13)
- Face - More of a "for the hell of it" thing than anything, but also a mark of his pride for Pyxis and their traditions. (13)
- Arm - Bored, traveling between Cepheus and Pavo. Done after some dicking around with his group. (14)
- Side - Dared to run the entirety of Lepus' border. Did it, and did it in shorter time than the dare was set for. (14)
- Leg - A work in progress between his escorts, only half-finished because he stopped bothering in the Sacred City. The first tattoo he was doing on himself. (15)
❧ Personality Differences
- When he isn't dealing with crazy, Raven is loud, boisterous, and full of talk. He is utterly confident in himself and has no problems proving it, whether it's a battle of wits or a battle of fists.
- Will adjust his personality to those he's talking to, especially people not familiar with him/people who who deserve respect. Quieter-type? He'll quiet down some. Loud? He'll be loud right there with you. This is from all his training and education of being an escort, and he does it almost unconsciously.
He can be surprisingly courteous and polite, and even respectful, to the people he feels earned it. He'll also drop his accent in a lot of cases, though it does slip in here and there.
- Straight-forward and blunt. He doesn't like playing around or word play and will tell you straight out to cut the shit.
- He's also heavily sarcastic and a bit of a joker. Pyxis have a reputation of being "barbaric tribesmen" and if you give him a reason, he'll act it up with joy.
- His memory for directions is better than Ikki. All he has to do is go that way once and he'll remember it down to the the smallest detail.
- He's a Pyxis. Most, if not everything, can be solved with fists.
As for the crazy . . .
- Raven has a fear of crowds. He hates them, can't stand being in the midst of them, and will find ways in and out of them without spending too long surrounded by people. He prefers to perch somewhere nearby or overheard instead. This has been amplified thanks to his time in the Sacred City and the Pillar, and he will absolutely refuse to be in any large groups. To the point of violencing his way out of he has to.
- He has also has a fear of enclosed spaces. Tunnels, small rooms, anything that he can't move around freely enough in will get one hell of a reaction, especially if he's put there unwillingly. Another thing that's been amplified from his time in the Pillar.
- FIDGETS VERY NOTICABLY. The boy can't sit still and is always moving. Hand through his hair, hands in his pockets, shifting weight from one foot to another, bouncing a leg . . . the longer he's sitting still, the more obvious it gets. He's also very prone to pacing and moving from one seat to another.
- Raven's particular not-okay manifests as what he calls "getting lost". Any of the above can trigger it, or if he's just . . . idle for too long, really, he completely blacks out and will wander around. It can last for minutes or for an entire day, and he doesn't remember any of it.
He's also more prone to being violent like this, though it's usually more turned on himself than anything - as seen with the scars on his arms. A few people are capable of knocking him out it ("leading him back") but it's definitely on a case-by-case sort of thing, and even then he may lash out at them, too.
He also rambles. :'D Sometimes it makes sense, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it's in the regular base language, sometimes it's in Pyxis, or Vulpeculean, or any other language he knows.
